1. Obsessions
These constitute thoughts, mental pictures, or urges which take place time and again, making a person feel out of your control. The individual does not wish to have these fancies. He even finds them troubling and invasive, and normally knows that they aren't really sensible. People suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) usually worry a lot about dirt and germs. They can be obsessed ideas that they are being contaminated or might contaminate others. Or they are their obsessive fears of having unintentionally harmed another (probably when pulling the car out of the driveway), although they usually know this isn't reasonable.

This is the result of an obsessive fear of burning down his house. He might have to count certain objects time and again due to an obsession about losing them.

Their acts consume plenty of time (over an hour a day), or interfere considerably with the individual's work, social life, as well as relationships.
