The ache that you are experiencing could be due to several reasons. Standing for prolonged periods of time, over working, obesity, weakness, ligament or muscle strain and tiredness could all lead to this particular type of pain. Here are a few home remedies that can help in treating this condition effectively. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of mustard oil and when the oil is warm, add 2-3 finely chopped garlic pods and let the two simmer for five minutes on a medium to low fire. Leave the oil aside to cool (favorably warm), after which strain it out into a bowl. Massage a few drops of this warm oil into your legs daily, this will help in alleviating pain to a considerable extent.
Remedies
Mix together ten grams of camphor and two hundred grams of mustard oil. Pour this mixture into an airtight bottle. This bottle should then be placed in the sun, so as to dissolve the camphor. Once the camphor has dissolved totally, massage a few drops of the oil into your legs 2-3 times a day. This remedy is also considered to yield positive results. Powdered fenugreek seeds are also known to work well on this particular condition. Add two teaspoons of the powdered seeds to a glass of water and mix well. This solution works best when consumed every morning on an empty stomach. Consuming 4-5 walnuts every morning, again on an empty stomach, is also considered to be beneficial for leg aches.
Warm baths are one of the oldest and most effective ways of treating any kind of body ache. Soak yourself in a tub of warm water for 15-20 minutes; this will help the body relax while also stimulating blood circulation. As an alternative you could also apply a warm compress on to your legs 2-3 times a day. Wrapping the legs with a piece of red flannel is also considered to work well for this condition. If you are overweight you need to consider losing weight. This is because being overweight tends to put added pressure on the lower extremities of the body, which at times may then translate into leg aches. Exercise regularly, even 30 minutes a day would suffice. Try brisk walking; this will enhance blood circulation in your legs. Yoga in particular is considered to be an excellent remedy for all kinds of body aches. If none of these remedies seem to work for you and the pain does not reduce, then consulting a physician is highly recommended.
