Red skin spot or skin bumps?, what are signs to appear after tuberculosis shot ?
The shot and the raised red bump are part of the standard procedure to test for the presence of tuberculosis. You probably underwent the Mantoux test where a small quantity of tuberculosis antigen is injected under the skin. If there is a reaction like the one you described then that means that you have the disease. Now, it must be noted that this doesn’t always mean that you have the disease but rather that you have the causative organism in your body. Tuberculosis is a lung infection that is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. The Mantoux test is not perfect because any presence of mycobacterium in your body can suddenly throw up this reaction. Mycobacterium is a class of bacteria that is one of the toughest strains to kill off. They all seem to cause some level of reaction in the lungs though the main source of infection can be another place altogether. It is for this reason that you need to take a blood test as well to confirm the disease. Note that there are many types of tuberculosis and not everyone will actually have symptoms of the disease. To understand this, thing of the HIV virus and AIDS, not everyone who has HIV has developed AIDS, it may take time, or some individuals are genetically predisposed to resist the effects of HIV taking complete hold of them. This is also the case with TB. There are millions of people who have the mycobacterium in their lungs but show now symptoms and may never show any symptoms in a lifetime.
Tuberculosis starts with inhalation of even one bacterium, which will then settle in the lungs to replicate. Once a population is established, the natural reactions of the body take over and the mass of bacteria are then trapped in a ball of white blood cells called a granuloma. This can cause necrotic tissue to form and the necrotized tissue contains live bacteria itself. The disease can cause death if not treated properly.
Treatment of TB is done with antibiotics like rifampicin and isoniazid and can go on for several months until the bacteria are completely eliminated from the lungs. With this regular treatment, you should also start consuming one who garlic every day. Apart from this, make a steam inhalation with tea tree oil and breathe this deeply. Gallic acid from tea leaves and witch hazel must also be consumed in copious quantities for it antibiotic effects.
