Yoga And Vagus Nerve?
The vagus nerve is essentially an autonomic nerve pathway that connects the brain to the internal organs and, because of this direct link, plays a huge role in the way that our bodies are able to perform. This nerve is also known as the nerve of compassion. This is because research has shown that it is primarily this nerve that is responsible for the generation of the ‘warm’ feeling one has in his or her chest in instances when he or she is hugged or experiences a period of compassion.
Yoga is a discipline that is focused on making sure that the body and mind are in perfect balance, it also helps maintain perfect functioning of the vagus nerve. Kriya Yoga is a form of yoga that is focused on seeing the inner light and hearing the inner sound – which will help you attain a more contented view of life. This form of yoga is also said to allow the practitioner to achieve a state of breathlessness once it has been mastered. However, because Kriya yoga is a form of yoga that is considered to be one of the more complex forms of yoga, you would need to learn and practice the art under a very experienced and highly trained Yogic teacher.

While there are not real ‘negative effects’ of yoga, there are a number of dangers that the discipline can pose in the event that you choose not to have a trained yoga teacher guide you. While the simpler yoga poses and moves are easy to perform, the more advanced ones will require your body to be in optimum shape in order for you to be able to accomplish them. A miscalculation in how much your body can take could easily see you injure or damage your muscles tissue that could possibly be long term.
