How to cure piles through yoga?

By and large, piles is caused by chronic constipation. As a result of exerting pressure, while trying to evacuate your bowels, there is pressure on the veins causing them to distend and swell and, subsequently, rupture and give rise to other malfunctions, as well. This is why you should be careful right from the beginning and first and foremost, deal with constipation. Failing this, the rest of your efforts will be in vain.

Meanwhile, it is crucial to seek medical attention as well – an Ayurvaid would be best – and take both internal and external medication to soothe and relieve your symptoms. If you have bleeding, you should be even more serious as ruptured veins can lead to more complications. In the meantime, here is a prescribed program of Yoga for constipation and piles. This routine includes a series of Yogasanas (physical postures), Pranayamas (breathing exercises), Kriyas (cleansing techniques) and a Yoga diet that you should follow in case of constipation and piles.

Your diet must be Sattvic (light and predominantly vegetarian) with generous helpings of salads and seasonal fruit. You should also have plenty of sprouts. Have lots of buttermilk in your diet, but avoid curd (yoghurt), milk and milk products, particularly butter and cheese. In the same way, avoid all junk / fast foods, confectionery products, spicy foods, alcohol and cigarettes as they will only worsen your condition.
