I have hair problem. They are very thin and ruff
The health of your hair depends on your physical and emotional health. There are several factors that might affect your hair such as your lifestyle, diet, hereditary factors, stress and tension, constant exposure to sun light, dust, pollution, unclean scalp, nutritional deficiency and other such factors. You need to start taking care of all these things to correct your hair problem. If your hair was healthy earlier then with proper care you might be able to restore the condition of your hair or even improve it.
Eat simple fresh healthy meals that include fresh salads, vegetables, fruits, pulses, whole grains, curd and buttermilk. The natural proteins and antioxidants will help to repair the damage and your hair will grow stronger and thicker. Avoid consuming oily, spicy processed foods. Practice Dhyana or meditation daily with some music that is specially created for meditation. This will help to get rid of your stress and tension, which in turn will improve your hair condition. After this you can do Pranayama or
breathing exercises that will help to correct your breathing pattern and boost the blood circulation. Practice breathing exercises like Bhastrika or the bellows, Anulom Vilom or alternate nostril breathing, Kapalbhati or the breath of fire, Bahya pranayama that involves staying without breathing for a few moments, Bhramari also called humming of the bee and Udgeeth or the chanting of Om. These breathing exercises will greatly help in treating your hair problem as they increase the circulation of fresh blood and oxygen to your hair. This helps to stimulate the hair follicles and boost the health of your hair.
Besides this since the pranayama or breathing exercises correct your breathing they open up the energy channels in your body so your life energy or prana can easily reach the various parts of your body and stay in good health. Once you are done with the Pranayama or the breathing exercises you can move on to the
yoga asanas or postures as these are slow controlled movements that put a certain amount of pressure on various glands and stimulate your body’s hormone production which in turn will help to solve your hair problems. You can practice all the inverted asanas like the Shirshasana or the headstand, Sarvanga asana or the shoulder stand, Janu shirshasana or the head to knee forward bend, Adho mukhashvana asana or the downward dog pose and of course the Surya Namaskar or the sun salutation.
