Water aerobics will not only help to burn the calories but will also help you recover from your hip and knee problems faster.
Equipments such as the elliptical trainer and stationery bicycles are also good options. These machines provide you with a low impact option of performing effective cardio. It is a good idea to consult a professional trainer at the gym before you exercise on these machines as he or she will be able to advice you on the proper technique to be followed so that you do not further aggravate your condition.
