Blogging from my cellphone this will be short as I'm not very dexterous with thumbtyping.I went to the doctor for my burning tongue and he prescribed some medicines.but after I showed him what the Yoga instructor prescribed, he kinda looks at it and thinks for a while then says Okay, give it a try as well.
So I did practice this morning was pretty decent right up to Shavasana I skipped a bunch of jumpbacks because my back finds them irritating.more tomorrow, I had it with thumbtyping.
I only have a few minutes to blog, as its time to supervise homework!!! My favorite thing in the world!!! Okay, that would be a whole other post
I only had about 30 minutes to practice today, so I did 5 Surya Namaskaras.and then the seated section of primary series (since I did standing yesterday, and because I was practicing upstairs on the carpet and its hard to do standing poses up there!). It was an efficient practice I tried to do a headstand at the end but my back was having none of it was probably a stupid idea anyway, as the chiropractor worked me over today and I was already sore. I think he ran through his entire repertoire of adjustments on me.
Made a doctor's appointment for my back on Wednesday wait, that sounds like I'm going back is going to the doctor for the second time.so what the heck! this time I'm gonna show him results! I'm curious as to what the doctor will have to say. He's not the type to engage in a lot of useless speculations or order a bunch of unnecessary tests very pragmatic.
As I examine my unspoken expectations about this appointment, I find that I dont really expect him to be able to figure out how to help me funny to verbalize that: I dont think the doctor will be able to help me.wow! I guess I really dont have much faith in doctors! I need to work on being open to the possibility that he actually might know something of value to me that sounds so arrogant! Anyway, we shall see. I will do my best to walk in with an open mind.
I understand some people with acid reflux suffer as I do from burning tongue.this means my taste buds have been damaged due to acid reflux.my taste buds were damaged when I chewed up a time release pill winch is made up of acids I have suffered for four years with this. I need help.I need to know of something for relief if not cure.
Burning Tongue Syndrome, they tell us at Yoga class, is a condition that continues to frustrate doctors as well as patients in many cases, the cause is unknown and reliable treatment is hard to find the type of relief you seek depends on the intensity of the problem. Big deal ! treatment may run the gamut from vitamin/mineral supplements, giving special attention to the B vitamins, to prescriptions medications and in some cases, antidepressants.
I got some of the simplest solutions and the worked.
Change in diet. I went on what they called a Sattvic, pure vegetarian Yogic diet for a whole week did mouth gargles with Alum water and Sitali and Shitkari Pranayamas morning and night on an empty stomach and Voila! It went just vanished.
Like to try it out yourself sometimes .it works but you'd like to stick to the diet, so it won't never come back.
By the way, its the same with canker sores. So the next time you have a burning mouth, or mouth ulcers, you know what to do.
