There are several different ways you can flatten your stomach. Some of the techniques to lose that paunch and flatten your stomach include exercise, a proper diet, and acupressure.
Eating slower can help. When you eat try to chew each bite forty to fifty times each. Doing this will help turn your food into liquid, before you swallow it. This will help in losing weight, when you practice doing this for about a period of two to three months. When you are stressed try not to consume any food until the stress is gone.
Try to eat only when you are really hungry. You can discard the normal time table for meals and only eat when you are hungry. You can eat breads that are made of soybeans and whole grains. You can also drink warm water mixed with the juice of half a lemon, and a teaspoon of honey. Be sure to drink this on an empty stomach every day. This will also help with detoxification of the body and help eliminate body waste. Another way of helping get rid of extra body weight is to use jujube leaves. Mix a handful of jujube leaves in water, letting it soak over night. Strain the water the first thing the next morning and drink it. Do this everyday for a month. You will need to cut out any junk food intake and replace it with healthier snacks and drink more water.
Exercise daily to help tighten up the stomach. There are different exercises you can do to tighten up your midsection. Different exercises work different muscles in the body. To focus on your stomach muscles you will need to perform abdominal muscle exercises. Some of the popular ab exercises are sit-ups, exercise ball crunches, bicycle exercises, Captain’s chair leg raises, vertical leg crunches, long arm crunches, reverse crunches, full vertical crunches, Ab rockers, and the plank on your elbows and toes. There are also side bends and medicine ball sit ups.
For the lower abs you can do lower abdominal exercises such as double crunches, abdominal leg lowering, the plank and hanging leg raise. Working on the upper and lower abdominal muscles will flatten your stomach when combined with a healthy diet.
Acupressure is another natural option you can use for weight loss. You have different pressure points all over your body. Learn about them and stimulate the pressure points that promote metabolic activity at least two to three times a day, for five to ten minutes at a time.
