Are there any poses that help Diverticulitis?
Diverticulitis is a condition in which the diverticula (small pouches that are formed in the large intestine) become inflamed or infected. Symptoms associated with diverticulitis are abdominal discomfort, cramps, constipation, vomiting, chills, bleeding, and intestinal blockages. Typically, diverticulitis is treated with antibiotics that help suppress the infection. However, there are some alternative treatment options such as yoga that claim to provide beneficial as well as long term results.
So, are there any poses that help Diverticulitis? Yes, there are certain abdominal yoga asanas (poses) that are believed to help in the management of this problem.
