Yoga poses to increase height

It is possible to appear tall even at the age 20 by adopting natural methods and solutions such as yoga and simple exercises. Before we delve into the benefits of yoga, it is important to understand the length of an individual is dependent on the bones and a skeletal structure and not so much about the limbs.  Therefore if you have set your mind on yoga it will help to know that yoga will not make your bones grow taller, or stretched any further.  What yoga actually does is, help to stretch and elongate your spine and the muscles surrounding it while developing them.  It does not add inches to your bones but corrects your posture when you stand and sit.  Certain yoga positions help to create space in the spinal column that in turn causes the body to align in a proper manner, thus making you appear taller than you actually are. By sprucing your back muscles you will be able to hold your head high.

To begin with, sukhasana is a perfect exercise in setting the standard for an improved back muscle posture. Another excellent yoga position is the dog and cat posture that works for the spine. In fact most basic yoga asanas work on the lower back, but in order to notice difference yoga must be your daily companion.

Do not resort to any form of medication or growth enhancers or pills available in the market that are mostly scans, and may do harm than good intended. Surgical alternatives to just increasing the spine or thickening the skull are drastic options that some people resort to, which have many side-effects in the long run. But with a daily practice of yoga and a strict regime of exercise you will be able to work and stand straighter, which may cause you to look taller than those around you.
