What Should I Expect To See For Men With Prostate Cancer? The prostate gland is located just below the junction of the urinary bladder and the urethra. It performs a few important functions associated with the male reproductive system. The prostate produces an alkaline fluid that helps the partially neutralize the acidic nature of the female reproductive system. The smooth muscles of the prostate gland also help to ensure that the ejaculation occurs with pressure, thus depositing the semen further up the female tract.
The proximity of the prostate gland to the urinary bladder means that the symptoms of prostate cancer are linked to urination. Men who suffer from prostate enlargement will display symptoms that include an increased urge for urination, increased frequency of urination, difficulty in controlling urination and difficulty in beginning urination. The increase in frequency does not mean that there is an increased volume of urine. Furthermore, the difficulty in beginning urination occurs even when the individual has a desperate urge to urinate. Thus, he has to apply a great deal of pressure to commence the act of urination. It should be noted that prostate enlargement may be cancerous or benign. It is therefore necessary to have the gland analyzed by a doctor to determine if the condition is harmless or life threatening.

What Best To Treat Enlarged Prostate?
The prostate gland is a part of the male reproductive system that is located just below the urinary bladder, connected to the urethra. The prostate gland releases an alkaline fluid that is added to the fluid ejaculated during sexual activity. This alkaline fluid helps to ensure that the sperm survive as they pass through the acidic tract of the female reproductive system. The prostate gland also adds pressure to the ejaculation, thus allowing for the semen to be deposited further up the woman’s tract.
Prostate enlargement may be benign or may be linked to the development of prostate cancer. If the condition is benign, then there are some good ways to treat prostate cancer. The best way to treat an enlarged prostate really depends on a case study of the individual’s exact condition. An enlarged prostate can be treated using herbal remedies, through medication, through surgery or through heat therapy. Some studies have also suggested that the use of specific exercises can help boost the function of the bladder and reduce the swelling of the prostate. In general, it is suggested that one should try therapeutic and non-invasive options to cure the condition before seeking medical choices that may include painful invasive surgery.

Is It Bad To Do Yoga Everyday?
The practice of yoga has been present in the world for over centuries; however the development of medical sciences later kept this practice on a rather low key. Due to the side effects of western medication however, yoga is once again gaining popularity among people around the world. However, as the long term effects of chemical based medicine becomes increasingly prominent – more and more people are becoming increasingly aware and turning to the natural methods of treatment for a number of illnesses. Yoga is considered to be one of the best holistic forms of treatment. This is because it not only focuses on the physical aspects of the body, but also plays a huge role in ensuring that the body finds a balance between the its physical and mental levels as well.
The benefits of Yoga are mainly achieved when the poses, postures and asanas are practiced as often as possible – which means that Yoga should be performed every single day and poses absolutely no threat when done so. The only real danger that Yoga poses is in the event that you do not perform one of the more complicated poses incorrectly and either pull or strain one or more of your muscles and tendons.

Yoga For Prostatitis
Prostatitis is a serious medical condition that affects the prostate gland. The prostate gland is a small organ that is located around the base of the bladder and wrapped around the urethra. Its primary function is to help with the reproductive system of the body and contributes to the production of about 70% of the fluid ejaculated during sexual intercourse. Some of the most common symptoms that will indicate a problem with the prostate gland include an urgency to urinate, an increased frequency in urination as well as a burning sensation present during urination.
First and foremost, it is important to understand that Yoga is unlikely to be able to completely cure Prostatitis. However, there are a few yoga poses and positions that could help bring some relief. Yoga asanas or poses that focus on the pelvic muscles are most highly recommended. One of the best of these poses is the Half Bridge Pose that requires you to keep your neck relaxed and your knees in alignment. Bend your body forward to stretch the pelvic floor muscles and return to your starting position to relax them. Finish up your yoga regime by practicing pranayama for maximum relief. Make sure to practice the yoga techniques on a regular basis in order for it to work.

It’s unlikely that yoga will cure protatitis, however, you may receive some relief from
yoga asanas that focus on the pelvic floor muscles and eliminate stress from that area. The pelvic floor muscles are located in your lower abdomen and include a variety of organs and muscles, including the prostate. Anytime you focus on the pelvic floor muscles you will receive the added benefit of increased bowel movements and better balance in your physical life.
Try asanas that focus on this section. A great pose for the pelvic floor muscles is the half bridge pose. Make sure to keep your neck relaxed and to keep your knees in alignment. Forward bends are also good for relaxing the pelvic floor muscles. Either standing or seated forward bends will work, holding each for up to a minute if you can. Upward facing dog and spinal twists may also help you find some relief. When finishing your yoga practice, spend some time doing pranayama. While lying on your back, keep your hands placed on your abdomen. Pranayama will stimulate the Svadhisthana Chakra, which is located between the belly button and the pelvic bone. Like all yoga practice, relief is likely to only be found with daily practice.
